Actually, When I was at Marvel, Carnage was huge. He could up the sales of a title 100%. There was this weakass Marvel UK book (not deaths head. I forget the name but I think it was a green cover with Carnage and an Aeon Flux looking chic on the front). It sold like crazy and the Carnage inside turned out to be a hologram. Total scam.
I remember the book; it was called WILD THING (not to be confused with Tom DeFalco's alt future Marvel book, where the lead character is the daughter of Wolverine and Elektra):

That was the book I was referring to, but even as much as that sucks it's not nearly as bad as the worst Marvel book ever. Keep guessing.
STREET-POET RAY?

Dude . . .I can't believe you knew that. Tell the truth, you looked that sh*t up.

Nice work.

I occasionally read Greg McElhatton's reviews, so I read that STREET-POET RAY review a few years ago. And after that from time to time I noticed on other boards every once in a while that people made fun of the comic.

I actually liked Carnage a lot. It was when they started introducing the other symbiotes that things started getting out of hand.

The temptation is there, isn't it? Just don't pay too much for it, though.

It would be like going home with two fat girls. It's ok as long as no one sees you do it.

(I mean, I guess . . .not that I have any experience in that matter, it was my . . .er . . .friend. . . .and they weren't fat, just big boned)

Fat girls need love, too...

Haven't I ever told you all? My house is haunted, especially my bed-room. All I hear are the voices of a thousand fat girls saying "Call me......"

If I had a Street-Poet Ray comic and had it graded and it came back a 10.0, and then took a dump in my other hand, would the *SKREE* still be worth a little more?

The 1 million part crossover of "maximum carnage". Talk about overkill!!!

Yeah, I totally agree. Marvel had a cool character and they just ran him in the ground! I never even finished reading "Maximum Carnage,' and I don't think I ever will.

Exactly the storyline I was talking about. Marvel comes up with a lot of great villians/heroes, but they need to learn how to not overexpose/overkill their popular ones. I'm afraid they are starting to do this with X-23 as well.

I've been looking for Street Poet Ray. Almost obsessively.

I can't find a complete run anywhere.

This is absurd. WHY CAN'T I STOP LOOKING FOR THIS COMIC?!?

Actually, think about that statement.

Isn't X-23 just a clone of Wolverine, one of the most overexposed characters in the Marvel Universe?

So, just by existing, isn't she already overexposing Wolverine? Now they have to overexpose HER as well?

The mind boggles, it does...

That is true.... boggles the mind it does. Hopefully, they don't make wolverine or x-23 into demon hunter with supernatural powers like they did the Punisher a few years back (what the hell were they thinking: admittingly, I did not read this series and just remember seeing it in the comic shop).

MHC has Street Poet Ray 1-4 for about a buck each after discount code.

I think I'm actually going to pick these up with my next order. :thumb:

X Force was bad. Night Hawk? Night something he had a jewel thing that made armor grow over his body I think. He seemed like a ghost rider thing in armor. Bad comic book. Maby it was Black Hawk. And then there was terror inc, that was bad to. Bad marvel stuff. Oh and can't forget Sleepwalker that realy started out good but got realy bad.
Night Hawk?....do you mean Darkhawk?
Yes, that is the book, Knight Hawk was an awesome book by Neil Adams, and it wasn't Marvel! Thanx' for clearing that up. :thumb:

I don't know what the worst title is but every time Marvel tries to introduce another universe such as New Universe, it either sucks really bad or will suck really bad after a couple of issues, if that many.

God I thought New Universe was horrible.

Just who exactly was the mastermind behind this?

Although it's been mentioned before - Luke Cage (Hero For Hire) was very painful to read.

Actually anything by Tony Isabella was lame, but that's a different topic. :P

You know.... not to hijack another thread or anything, but I just noticed that one of the sub designated handles is "Bobbing For laytons".

Is this slightly distubing to anyone else, here? -shudder... ugghhhh- :!: :atomic:
