Dude . . .I can't believe you knew that. Tell the truth, you looked that sh*t up.The Spider wrote:STREET-POET RAY?John Taddeo wrote:That was the book I was referring to, but even as much as that sucks it's not nearly as bad as the worst Marvel book ever. He could up the sales of a title 100%. There was this weakass Marvel UK book (not deaths head. I forget the name but I think it was a green cover with Carnage and an Aeon Flux looking chic on the front). It sold like crazy and the Carnage inside turned out to be a hologram. Total scam.djm928 wrote:Ok, I'll give it to you for Carnage and Bishop. Cable was better in his early introduction though with New Mutants/X-Force. I was really just meant that Marvel started pumping out way too many characters at the time without focusing on the stories.

I occasionally read Greg McElhatton's reviews, so I read that STREET-POET RAY review a few years ago. And after that from time to time I noticed on other boards every once in a while that people made fun of the comic.John Taddeo wrote:Dude . . .I can't believe you knew that. It would be like going home with two fat girls. It's ok as long as no one sees you do it.The Spider wrote:The temptation is there, isn't it? Just don't pay too much for it, though.Byrneout wrote:Is it sad that I want to buy SPR now?
(I mean, I guess . . .not that I have any experience in that matter, it was my . . .er . . .friend. . . .and they weren't fat, just big boned)

Fat girls need love, too...
Haven't I ever told you all? My house is haunted, especially my bed-room. All I hear are the voices of a thousand fat girls saying "Call me......"

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Yeah, I totally agree. Marvel had a cool character and they just ran him in the ground! I never even finished reading "Maximum Carnage,' and I don't think I ever will.inmyblood wrote:The 1 million part crossover of "maximum carnage". Talk about overkill!!!djm928 wrote:I actually liked Carnage a lot. It was when they started introducing the other symbiotes that things started getting out of hand.

Actually, think about that statement.djm928 wrote:I'm afraid they are starting to do this with X-23 as well.
Isn't X-23 just a clone of Wolverine, one of the most overexposed characters in the Marvel Universe?
So, just by existing, isn't she already overexposing Wolverine? Now they have to overexpose HER as well?
The mind boggles, it does...
MHC has Street Poet Ray 1-4 for about a buck each after discount code.
I think I'm actually going to pick these up with my next order.

X Force was bad. Night Hawk? Night something he had a jewel thing that made armor grow over his body I think. He seemed like a ghost rider thing in armor. Bad comic book. Maby it was Black Hawk. And then there was terror inc, that was bad to. Bad marvel stuff. Oh and can't forget Sleepwalker that realy started out good but got realy bad.
