Our company ATF compliance lady is a horrible speller and frequently writes "defiantly" when she means definitely, sometimes changing the meaning of the sentence significantly. It can be kinda funny.

Yep, that kind of thing, sometimes as it pertains to the federal government and federal firearms law. "We defiantly want to keep this the way it is", "you should defiantly change the way you handle that form."

I have to admit that I sort of surprised that there isn't a podcast about Defiant Comics, given that there seems to be a podcast about everything else now of days.
I'm tempted to start one myself. Between a full time job and some *SQUEE* going on in my personal life , it's hard to find the time.

In my case it's I don't have the money for a massive tech upgrade and the skills to do it. Plus I don't have a great recording voice.

Schism had one page colored before DEFIANT went under. I didn’t know that. I’ve obtained the ability to publish that colored page in the zine. I believe JayJay colored it.

The DEFIANT fanzine I’m putting together will have an exclusive Jim Shooter interview by JC Vaughn. We’re close to the finish line as well. Recently I’ve been working with corvettejim to put together a DEFIANT checklist for the zine. Jim has the most extensive DEFIANT collection known to exist, and is pretty much a DEFIANT savant. We have a JG Jones interview for the zine in the can, along with a Joe James interview and more. I’ve been blessed to be able to get a scan of the only colored Schism page too. Just lots of exclusive stuff for the DEFIANT zine. As an added bonus, my ugly mug should appear in it somewhere as well.

I'm closing in on completing my base Defiant collection (5 issues to go - all stuff from the last couple months of publishing). But I haven't read a page of it yet. Still would be interested to get my hands on the zine!

I have never done a custom bind, but Defiant would be a cool project to start.

Does anyone have recommendations for mapping?

Also, any recommendations for how to handle Glory 0 and Good Guys 1.5 as far as printing?

Thanks for the interest! The zine is almost finished. There is a certain extremely important interview taking place that we’re waiting to be completed. It’s an incredibly insightful interview featuring, well, you can imagine who it features.
The zine also has lots of other great stuff in it. Key Defiant creator interviews, articles, and CorvetteJim Hollister, who has the largest and most extensive Defiant collection known to exist, and I put together a comprehensive Defiant checklist.
If anyone wants to learn more you can join my Facebook group DEFIANT COMICS FANS. I have the cover posted there, and it’s incredible. Since Photobucket became Photospam I don’t know how to post pics here.
