Putting together a DEFIANT Comics fanzine

There will be articles, interviews, art, and more. It will be magazine size in full color. There probably won't be a lot printed, but I'm not sure on that yet.
The cover is finished. Just trying to figure out how to post an image of it here. I left Photobucket for obvious reasons, but am struggling a bit without it.

Photobucket has been overrun with popups and it's an unbelievable struggle to use now. I've got a different service that I've only used briefly and tried unsuccessfully to use it to post the fanzine cover here. I think the file might need to be resized.

Lots of interviews of former Defiant employees/creators revealing quite a bit about their time at Defiant and the company. Other great content too. It's still coming together but it's far better than I could have hoped for.

Getting some unpublished DEFIANT art for the zine. Some great articles too. Some surprises I can't talk about yet. This is going far better than I'd dreamed it could have when I decided to put together a DEFIANT fanzine.
Next year is the 25th anniversary of DEFIANT and that's when it will be published. I have what I consider to be a great cover already. More to come when I can reveal it. I'm not sure about the print run yet. I'm going to try to get it into Previews. If not I might really limit the print run.
My time as a small press comic book publisher is really paying off on this. I have a great cover design guy in place who makes every cover he works on via logos,cover concept etc top of the line. I've also got a printer picked out that always does good work. I'll post more about this later.

A couple of months ago, I stumbled on some other website where someone was talking about starting a Defiant fanzine (perhaps it was you). I thought it was a great idea and started trying to think about what one would include.

Is the fanzine going to print? Just started reading some Defiant and would be interested in your magazine.

Yes, it's going to print. No set date yet, but this is the 25th anniversary of DEFIANT and it'll be out this year. I have a major sponsor who is takng out an ad in it, and the content is far better than I ever dreamed it would be. I'll probably make this a very limited print-run item.
I'm expecting to have a major interview announcement for the fanzine soon. I've got a great cover finished, but since photobucket became screwy I haven't been able to post images here. If Greg doesn't mind, I'd like to mention my DEFIANT Comics Fans Facebook page, where one can view the cover and see in-depth discussion on DEFIANT and the zine.

I'm tempted to start one myself. Between a full time job and some *SQUEE* going on in my personal life , it's hard to find the time.
