I love that cover soo much.

I saw some of his marker-rendered interior XO pages in person a couple years back at a con - so much awesome. Super inspiring to me. That cover must look incredible in person.

I could not believe that it was still available at the time, and kept checking on it every few weeks. I was enjoying a glass of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked whisky and decided it was time to pull the trigger on it. Contacted Jason (Cary's art rep) and worked the deal.

I've only got a few Nord covers in my collection, but am certainly happy that this is one of them.

Slight tangent, but this plus the Sal Velutto commission thread prompted me to look around for some original art since I have plenty of wall space to fill.

I just purchased some pages from Sal's run on Bloodshot (VH2). He lists several on his website and still at least has these pages available if folks are looking to collect:

Issue 2, page 7
Issue 4, page 13
Issue 5, pages 2-3

The day will come where it will be almost impossible to collect art like this (as VEI's fan-base expands more and more in the future). These past few years have been a new beginning, and as a lifelong fan I wanted to ensure that every possible chance to collect these pieces was taken.

This is simply outstanding! I like it better than the finished version. I had those Vans slip on sneakers as a kid. I don't know where you find (and afford!) these amazing pieces!
