VEI Original Art Displays

A bit separate from some of the OA threads, I'm going to showcase some recent OA art displays here in an effort to 1.) show it off of course, and 2.) to potential inspire others to create displays of their own.

(I believe that) art is supposed to be visible and enjoyed; not hidden away or forgotten for years at a time.

Pls comment if you see a specific concept or display that you personally enjoy; or might have done differently.

Creating art with art is the goal.

What should go here? Bleeding Monk?

While a Dove of peace was used in the final product, the idea of The Bleeding Monk perhaps floating in the sky existed (at least in concept with LaRosa). As this art was based on WWII Nazi propaganda art, the Dove made the most sense; however, try to imagine a floating Bleeding Monk instead and consider how that might have looked.

As this artwork was created BEFORE the Harbinger "Death of a Renagade" story arc, the prelim and creator notes are loaded with cool info, such as;

The prelim shows Chronos riding on the dragon.

Flamingo (who was Dead by the time this issue was released) was initially drawn on the cover and can still be seen; however, she was re-named Telic due to the events of "Death of a Renagade" and the fact they are both young fit women with long hair (see also; interchangeable)
