There's a solicited Magnus reprint book for November this year. Maybe that's their way of keeping the license active again.

It was such a disorganized mess especially the lines for photos and signings. The photo op with Takei was 40 bucks (pretty ridiculous but the pic came out pretty nice) ... I believe for Takei you had to pay for the signings 20-30 bucks I think. I was actually on that line by mistake for like 30 min...

I might go on one of the days. My first convention too. I see Bob Layton is on the guest list from old valiant. Also Kevin Smith and George Takei will be there. I think it's good. Prometheus took alot from the Aliens: The Destroying Angels mini series anyway.

If I wanna get something signed by a celebrity like George Takei, do I need to buy a ticket? Or get in line?

Was Dark Empire a trilogy? I thought it was 6 comics? :? Dark Empire was six comics. So was Dark Empire II Empire's End was two issues, and completed the trilogy of mini-series. Dang it, now I'm going to have to hunt down that Empire's End two-shot. Unless its sub-par... :? "Empire's End"...

I'm looking for a NM copy of the Star Wars Gamestop Variant #1 if anyone has a sharp looking copy...

I liked the "Dark Empire" run alot better than "Heir to the Empire."

"Crimson Empire I" is pretty good too and follows up right after Dark Empire.

Maybe their move is starting up the rebooted CGW and other new Superheroes again in their line this year....and then bring back a round two of the GK4 characters later on. Who knows. There's no reason to leave those magnus/solar characters dormant if they still have the rights.

Dark Horse is putting out a Brain Boy story in upcoming issues of Dark Horse Presents. Brain Boy was a Dell character alongside Magnus, Solar and Turok so I suspect the license is still active. Now "Brain Boy" gets an monthly title: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=4...
