This card set was cancelled, and there are only the 500 preview sets. I have extra sets (without the sketch card), if you are interested.

I had to write a blog article about the Valiant "preview sets" offered at 2013 SDCC.

I've read a bunch of threads archived on these boards, but still need help.
** Were pre-orders allocated since there were only 500 packs? Did they sell out immediately?
** Was there a plan at a full-size standard ...

It seems that these cards have only 'trickled' onto eBAY since release;
but this past 30days there has been a flood of auctions.

... BTW, i still have the promo card (from HeroesCon) around here somewhere if someone is still hunting one ...

On twitter, he runs 'flash sales' all the time.
He tweeted that this was now in his ETSY store.
I bought it within minutes.

Yesterday i went to a store i have never been to (2 hours from home).
I was on that side of town for a different reason.
It was mainly a toy store (80% toys, 10% cards, 10% comics).

So, i LOVE the preview set ... but did they scrap the Normal/Full-Release?
If so, does that mean i missed the boat?

Talked to Clayton Henry & tried to negotiate some original pages,
but yes, his final prices were still out of my range.

Well after some talking to owners & stuff -- here's the story:
The owner bought a collection of records at auction & this was included in the record album lot.
They know nothing about it (ha!).

The $200 price tag is based on their eBay research & they dont want to budge.
I guess i'll pull the ...
