I'm slowly making my way through the Valiant VH1 universe. My favorite Valiant character besides Jack Boniface is Peter Stancheck (Sting). In the Harbinger series, he was a very interesting and relatable character who may or may not be gay.

Shipping to Canada from the US is more expensive than shipping from Canada to the US. If you are buying from the States it is better to buy multiple items from the same seller to cut down on the shipping costs.

I really did not care for the Yearbook very much since it did not have the feel of the Eternal Warrior that I am used to. It is hard to see Gilad as a warmonger and murderer. The story seemed confusing and the biggest drawback for me is that the artwork wasn't as "clean" as the other Valiant titles ...

I'll have my answer for this question in a couple of months. I'm reading post-unity Valiants for the first time and so far think that the quality of story telling is still very strong at this point. I'm up to around Magnus 21 in the Valiant timeline. Only Hardcorps and Bloodshot have been introduced ...

None just great stories,and great art. Works for me.

I agree with David. If there is no quality story telling and strong continuity, then no incentive in the world would make me want to buy a weak comic book.

2) There is tight continuity throughout (also for Solar).

I sent the comic books out to the USA, plus a few extra. The total shipping cost $19.00 US for airmail so I refunded him $3.00. Hopefully he'll enjoy the Valiants like I do.

Pick up Unity 0 and 1. Unity #1 gives a timeline of what happened during the Unity Saga.

I would vote for Magnus, although Solar comes up extremely close. Of course all the pre-unity books are awesome.

I've just finished reading Jim Shooter's outline of Unity 2000 (Issues 1 through 6) and was shocked by how it would have ended.
