Re: Rai 10 error issues
I wondered why none of them in the store didn't have issue numbers on them. I thought mine looks a bit off-kilter from the prior nine issues

Re: BOD: The Fall of Bloodshot - Discussion
I finally got around to reading this last night. It was nice to see that Bloodshot gets to go out on a peaceful, quiet note and not in the middle of yet another battle. Rather poetic, certainly.

I felt sorry for Shanhara; poor little girl being absorbed into the armor and all.
However, now I have confirmation that "Shanhara" is indeed a feminine name. I knew it!

Re: X-O Manowar #37 a.k.a. the finale of Dead Hand
Could Mars become a world with life on it, similar to Earth now? That's what I got out of the ending. That would be really interesting, to have Mars as a "sister planet" to Earth and a big race to colonize it. Even setting it up with its own Geomancer!
Of course, I'm just probably off my rocker...

Re: Book of Death: Legends of the Geomancer
I wanted to read this series, but if I have to beg and plead with my store to get a copy of it for me by over ordering issues they don't want to get, then I have to pay $20 for each issue....I'm out. Apparently Valiant doesn't want me, a fan who has been along since X-O Manowar #1 to read this ...

Dead Hand.
Dead Drop.
Book of Death.
I don't think the random word generator in the Valiant Idea Department is working as it should. :P
In all seriousness, can't wait for more info on this!!! That teaser image gives me chills!!!

Re: 'The Valiant' Opinion Poll
At least Shadowman wasn't at the big battle in issue 3, so he's still the "loner". I mean, outside of Dr. Mirage, no one has met him, right? Something tells me there's a big return for him coming our way.

Re: The Valiant #3
I wouldn't worry too much about missed character introductions. That can easily be explained away later on when characters meet as a "I vaguely recall you from that chaotic time in that big mob fight" explanation. Is it perfect? No...but that's an established comic book trope.

Re: Valiant Versus the Big 2 Reboots
Marvel wasn't being published by DC; DC was handling Marvel's distribution. Trust me, big difference!
Anyway, I've been telling anyone who will listen that I'm down to a mere 2 titles from the Big Two and The Walking Dead from Image, otherwise I've put all my chips on Valiant! I don't think all ...

Re: Q&W in The Valiant? (I sure hope not)
Personally, I decided I don't really care for Quantum & Woody enough to continue reading their title, so I stopped after the "original" series ended (what was that, issue 12?). I'm not getting their series or the Q2 deal, so I'm getting seven Valiant titles per month instead. It's a little lighter ...

Re: If VEI published more monthly books, how many would you
Personally, I'd say to keep it at or around 10-12 titles. More than that and things can get quickly out of hand and unwieldy. 10 or less keeps it in the realm of fans being able to purchase all titles. As for which titles I'd like to see personally:
X-O Manowar
Harbinger
Bloodshot
Archer ...

Re: Crossovers?
I was just thinking of this yesterday. It seems Bloodshot is the main "connector" of the Valiant Universe so far. Excluding the supernatural-based characters (Shadowman, Doctor Mirage and Punk Mambo) hasn't he run into everyone else so far?

Re: Unity #12 Discussion
Good points.
I guess it just seemed weird to me to see Shadowman so prominently on the "list" of known superhumans.
Also, isn't Bloodshot now a member of Unity or was that just for the Armor Hunters affair? (Man, my memory is getting bad! Or I'm just getting old...)

Re: Unity #12 Discussion
How does the government know about Shadowman? Maybe I've forgotten a scene in an issue, but I thought no one knew about him, other than Doctor Mirage. I've liked the thought that he was sort of the unknown element among the Valiant heroes and villains. Also, speaking of Mirage, she wasn't listed as ...

I also wish people in the entertainment industry had more balls; I'm not sure where MERO is (off the top of my head), but aside from the convenient 'nearest population center,' why not a US city?

My store isn't Valiant friendly, so he only orders enough to cover people's pull lists and that's it. He didn't order the Handbook, so I couldn't get it on Free Comic Book Day. That was literally the ONLY book I wanted to get!
