Re: Future Comics help
Has this article been published yet? If so, where? Thanks.
The article hasn't run. It's frustrating to be so close to finished, but I can't come up with print quality images for the ashcans, the Deathmask #1 variant, and the Deathmask digest. It's even more frustrating that I have web-res images ...

I had never heard of it either until Bob told me about it. And yes, I think so. He's the one the sent me the image.Brother J wrote:Never heard of the Deathmask digest trade paperback. Is that the book that says something about a film treatment?

Re: Future Comics help
Some of those are crazy rare.
Oh, yeah, they are. Only the Deathmask #1 isn't super rare.
On the other hand, I hope someone has them. While I'd buy them if I saw them, for my purposes I only need print quality scans.

Oops! I misunderstood JC. I thought he needed the regular issues from Future Comics, but he has those. He still needs the help he requested.

Huge fan of the line. :thumb:
A good choice t give them a try in my biased view, to give them a try and a line whose ethos I wish was reflected in at least one shared universe today.

Future Comics help
I'm working on an article for Overstreet's Comic Book Marketplace Yearbook about Future Comics. Bob was kind enough to send me scans of the ashcan covers (I don't have any of them in my collection) and the Deathmask digest trade paperback, but I wondered if anyone here might be able to provide 300 ...

I just saw a preview for an upcoming Alien Legion 4 issue miniseries, coming in June from Titan comics. The creative team is Chuck Dixon, Larry Stroman & Carl Potts!!!! Holy crap, I'm excited for this - I love the Legion!

I bought it cheap.
It's been sitting around for 7-8 years and I am at a loss as to what the hell to do with it?
Any ideas? Anyone want it?

Grimmax #0, also known as The Great Grimmax #0, might well have been J.G. Jones' first gig as a cover artist, something he's become clearly known for since DC's 52 (among others).
The original art is up for bid in an auction ...

Wow. I sincerely HATE to see the worst aspect of the original, post-Unity Valiant returning. Stupid (and I do mean genuinely and amazingly stupid) purchases of this issue for $200 will inevitably stick the purchaser with the issue, which will almost certainly never sell for such a price again.
