you know that was always my favourite line from Transmetropolitan, its true.
While you all were squabbling back and forth I made some incedebly purchases one of which i believe is one-of-a kind as a set.

yes,yes, especially paying less than .10 for bloodshot 51 and Harbinger 41
in retrospect though today i paid $47 for the Unity 2000 set oh well

no,no but i scored a preivew from a quarter bin once, so i guess it evens out, honestly i just wasnt collecting any comics when those came out and totally missed the boat, also as the valiant prices soar in the future, i believe these will be the only outsideVH1 comics that will appreciate in value, since they have shooter and all, especially #3 what was the print run on that like 10? Besides i never got toread them and ive always wanted to.

Yes, except that you're forgetting S&H, and you had to buy all the rest of the junk with it. I thought about bidding on those...passed. Put an esnipe bid for $5 on the Rai #9, but I'm not paying more than that, ever.

I picked up the same Unity gold and platinum set with the letter from Capital from my local comic dealer last time he had his big back issue sale. I don't think I paid more than $5 for the set. Still, it's probably pretty rare to find that letter intact with the books nowadays as I'm sure many of them were tossed.

I was in the exact same boat Zeph... I don't think he got a deal on any of it really. I saw it all & passed... I made sure the VVSS Rai 9 went over $5 & I called it a day. The Unity letter is cool & was probably the only item legitimately worth bidding on, but not $30 worth... ~Erskine
