Re-Reading: Solar #48

I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do

For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.

Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.

There's smart things here going on about invasion of privacy. The abortion thing made a very good point.

Unfortunately the panels with an IQ are very short lived and buried underneath an overwhelming amount of stupidity. If Sin Buster got any less intelligent he'ld forget to breath (which would be merciful). Just so much really painful stupid dialog. He's way too easily convinced he's found God and then way too easily convinced God's an imposter. I bet he's one of those guys who put in a really high bid for that peice of toast with the Virgin Mary on it.

This issue is about the same as last issue, not very good. I guess if anyone was curious about what would happen if Image got a hold of the Gold Key characters they now have a preview.
