Greetings to you all
Hi People
Since this is my 1st post I'd just like to introduce myself.
I live in Australia and was a huge Valiant fan from 92-96.
(Never cared for the Acclaim Valiant comics in later years)
I had'nt really thought about Valiants for years and years and have'nt collected comics for about 2 years now either. For some reason the other day I had a wave of Valiant nostalgia sweep over me and of course found this site.
So now I've dug out my whole collection and will start to reread them all. The fun thing is going to be to track down and fill the few holes I have. Initially I just want to aquire the standard issues I'm missing. Not sure about gold books etc at the moment but I'm sure the bug will hit me sooner rather than later!
I'm so glad to see there is still a following of these comics as they were some of my favourites of all time.
Anyhow just wanted to say hi and hope to have many Valiant discussions for years to come.

Yes, welcome to the boards!
I'm not sure how many members we have in Australia,
but I know we have a few. You might want to post a topic
like "Australian Collectors?" and see who else might be interested
in buy/sell/trade that can help you with your collection.
Since the cost of shipping is usually a concern for U.S. to U.S. transactions,
I'm sure it would be a big deal for U.S. to Australia...
and Australia to Australia would probably be nicer.
Again, welcome!

It's been three years since I first posted but since then I have got sucked into the time sink that is World of Warcraft
Anyhow my pc recently crashed so I some back in for my second trip back to the Valiant universe.
Went on a trip to the local comic shop last weekend and got 24 50c Valiant
comics which included another copy of Harbinger 1 which brought a smile to my face. I also retrieved all pre-unity issues from the bin and about 7 copies of Rai 0 as I could'nt bare to see them to be in the bargain bin .
Finally got some backing boards and covers which ended up costing ike $40! Far more than I payed for the books but they all deserve some love.
