For a comic you find in a dollar bin with a cover that someone wrote on? Yeah, that price sounds about right :D

So you're saying that I didn't over-pay but I also didn't get it at a steal?

I looked on some of the sites that you guys have posted links to and could find no current market value for this book.

Anyone up to posting a Dead Universe price guide here in the DU section?

I have not seen one sell for that price in a LONG time (and I've only seen 1 sell for that price at all). You got a GREAT deal!

comicspriceguide.com has their price guide listing at $20 for this book.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Thanks slym :thumb:

Still 50% off isn't a great deal but still not bad.

Imagine what 1$ of action #1's (at original prices) would bring today if they were cgc graded at 9.6 to 9.8!

Why? To go back to '93 when shop owners were selling them for $300.

Good price. That's what I paid for my first one on an off-ebay sale.

On Ebay they go for about $40 if they are listed correctly. It seems that one pops up every month or two. It just depends on who's looking at the time.

Nope, I'd go back to the time of the crash and scoop up even more Valiants for little of nothing. Plus, while I'm at it I may as well go back and get in on the beginnings of DC and Marvel.
