Re-Reading: Solar #27
I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do
For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.
Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.
the holidays are keeping me busy, sorry the slow updates. Im also working on Shadowman totals so hopefully they will be up soon.

Not so much action. More an attempt to build on mind over matter and the workings of the Valiant universe. A nice enough issue.

This really felt an issue to take up space while waiting for the Valiant Vision issue. Even though the story has little value if it's not read as part of the storyline, I could skip the issue without missing a thing. That's never a good thing.
Bringing the Dreamtime into VH-1 is a really neat idea. I'll give them props for that. But the execution is way off. Solar sees the secret of history, blah, blah. The visual we get to see of it...is underwhelming. If it's so amazing how about clueing us in on what we should be amazed about?
And Solar no longer bears guilt from the deaths he caused after this. Huh? Did I miss a page? When did this even come up before Destroyer mentioned it?
Still a neat idea, just executed in a way that reads like a badly executed filler. A 6.
