I know that there are more people in the NY area that could attend. You want that I work on them to see if we can up the attendance ? It looks like these are the typical folks who attend Cons...

If I am going to spend big bucks on a plane ticket (as I am sure others are as well), I would like to see more Valiant people.

When you are in my chain of command then you can tell me what to do. Until then, a simple 'hey that would be great' will do. :thumb:

Guys, I am going to need to be much closer to the date of this thing before I can make the call. It's extremely unlikely I will be setting up at that show, but I still may come down for the get-together. I'm keeping tabs though, and want to be there.

I'm going to be there barring any emergencies. Looking forward to putting faces to the names.
When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..

That reminds me to ask: are we gonna wear name-tags with our screen-names on them?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

We did in San Diego with Valiant characteres on them... well actually they were all Acclaim characters     , set up by BTE... whomever decides to do this, if they do this in March. I HIGHLY recommend that we use actual VALIANT characters this time. If I had wanted to go to an Acclaim gathering... well you catch my drift. Some things in life that should be obvious.....

Here's a link to a NY Times story titled Ten Hotels for Under $250 in NYC. Yeah, not the most heart-warming thought I know, but for those who are combining the Con with a trip with a significant other, you might want to consider some of these spots.

If you need to register on the NYT site to read this, post here and I will cut and paste the article instead.

As far as high priced hotel rooms go... personally I am rooming with three other individuals to cut down on the price. It worked at the San Diego Con money wise and personally it was just a freakin' blast. I look forward to the NYC Con (mostly).

Nice article, Woogieman - I appreciate the link! I have two of those hotels bookmarked already.
