Keith Giffen
Well...hmmm...ok. so the Giffster's been bashed on the boards a bit....but in his defense, he wrote some of the best....and funniest....Justice League stories ever. If you dig humor couched in some intense drama, read Justice League #1-#60. Him and JM had it going on...
Also...his Legion stuff is among some of the best, especially the second Great Darkness Saga in the '89 series #19-#23ish.
Great stuff.

The last new issue I bought was Cerebus #300....before that I think was Green Arrow #1....and before that....maybe JLA #2?Byrneout wrote:Tell me you've read "Formerly Known As The Justice League". HILARIOUS.
I can't wait for "I Can't Believe It's Not The Justice League", either.
As you can tell, I don't buy new books.

So...I missed Formerly Known as the Justice League until I saw the trade at my LCS. I'll buy the entire set on eBay when I get around to it, but yes, I REALLY want to read it. Justice League 1-60 is simply one of the best, most entertaining, ADULT comics put out by DC in the last 20 years. Just amazing. Best Giffen's ever done, IMO.
