I've got some spiffy Ronald McDonald sunglasses from when I was like 4. What does that have to do with this you might be asking yourself. The answer is, "I don't know."

I'll try to get a picture of some of it someday. I'd say when I have time, but there never seems to come a time when I'm not swamped. I think the first picture I'll do is of the rings. With this one, I now have the X-O bronze, silver, and the GOLD one from Bob Layton. I also have the Ninjak bronze and silver ring. They will look nice lined up together.architect wrote:I would like to see Dsire's collection. Could you post a pic David?

BTW architect, where in the Rocky Mountains are you? I'm in the Rocky Mountains in Idaho.dsire50 wrote:I'll try to get a picture of some of it someday. I knew you were in Idaho (I have co-workers from Idaho). I am in northern Colorado, Fort Collins to be exact. I think a picture of all the rings would look great. I look forward to seeing them once they are all accounted for.dsire50 wrote:BTW architect, where in the Rocky Mountains are you? I have never seen the Deathmate Thank you card. If anyone has a pic of that, I would really relish the chance to see that.
I also kayak David. I heard Idaho has some great whitewater. I have kayaked all the main rivers in the ozarks. I am going to try Montana and Idaho next year late in the run off.

I have some co-workers who are absolute fanatics about whitewatering. If you are interested, I could get you in touch with them. Some of the runs you have to have permits for to control the numbers on them. You might want to check into that.architect wrote:I knew you were in Idaho (I have co-workers from Idaho). Thanks for that info. I thought I had heard about that on the Snake river, so I will be in touch later this year once I get a few other things done first. Thanks for the fast replies.

I love silver rings. I have a silver One Ring from the Lord of the Rings on my right index finger right now.
I would completely dig having a silver X-O ring, but with a price of nearly 3 Bengies, I'll have to wait a while.
I put one one once and it was kinda big. I think they're designed for men like Aric. I'm built more like Ken, but I like the ladies, so no comments from the Peanut Gallery.

I have one of the gold-plated silver rings from the LOTR collection, but I don't wear it. I like the collectability of this, but I am not a jewelry person, personally. I commend you on wearing yours!!!david_albuq wrote:I love silver rings. I have a silver One Ring from the Lord of the Rings on my right index finger right now.
-slym (got his ring for a Christmas present)
Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I had one guy pretend to be Golum and want to bite it off my finger. Though the guy was joking, he did appear to be just a -bit- unbalanced.
