Greetings to everyone! This is my first post to the discussion forum although I did a trade recently with one of the other members on the Buy, Sell forum. First, let me thank Greg for the wonderful site he has put together - so much great information to sift through. I came late to the Valiant family having collected mostly Batman comics for a number of years. A few years ago I picked up some of the Unity issues and loved the storyline so I searched for the entire run. In doing so, I met some of the other characters of the Valiant Universe & remembered Magnus & Turok from when I was a kid. I was hooked and luckily it was easy & cheap at the time, especially for the post Unity issues. Since I didn't like all of the titles, I decided to concentrate on the regular pre-Unity issues as a goal (along with my favorites of other titles). I'm happy to say I've finally reached that goal in that I found a Magnus #12! Not too many shops here - two that had large inventories where I was able to find most of what I needed are now closed.

My most prized Valiant? Probably the Magnus #0 signed by Jim Shooter I got a couple of years ago from Mile High. Although I did recently score an Alpha/Omega hardcover which is cool. Hope this post wasn't too long, but I will be back with some other info & questions for all you brilliant Valiant addicts out there.

P.S. - Greg, when I post this, I will be sending you some cash. You deserve it for all your hard work & I always want to be able to visit this corner of the Valiant Universe.

Peace
