Yeah...I got into it with the idiot who posted 'ONE HELL OF A DEAL' for $40. What an *SQUEE*.Chuck wrote:It's all that stupid Batman 638 hype. :x
Then there's this one:

Someone please explain why Deadpool gets so much play in the aftermarket? And not the usual blah blah blah of 'low print runs, popular character, full run, etc etc etc'
Because if THAT was the case, I've got dozens of popular characters with low print runs from the late 90's on who sell for SQUAT, AND...I've assembled a couple sets of Deadpool at cons for 50 cents each.
No, there's something else at play here.....
I mean, the series is SOLID...but....cover price for these books? Hmmmmmmm......

The absolute friggin' BEAUTY of all of this, is that everyone and their mother will be dragging out these dusty old DITF books and trying to make a buck on eBay...which will cause the price to plummet, and I will add another 20 sets to my collection...ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6529012704

Thanks for posting this Zeph. My personal run (unread store stock copies) is going up on eBay now. Time to make some spending cash while the prices are high!ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6529012704

It looks like this seller is a seller's agent type of seller. U take your stuff to a storefront and their army of winged monkeys create the listing, collect the $ and ship. No real attention to customer service or listing accuracy (check out their terms) - I would never buy collectibles from this sort of seller.Daniel Jackson wrote:Man, 1188 negs. Yikes!
