Valiant "Free-view"?
I had gotten a CGC 9.4 of Acclaim's Valiant "Free-view", and it says Second printing on the label. I also have a raw version; how do you tell the difference between first and second printing on this comic?

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

It will say second print in the inside of the comic. You'll need to open it up. If I recall, the second print was bagged in Magic the Gathering books.Sharpcode wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:13 am I had gotten a CGC 9.4 of Acclaim's Valiant "Free-view", and it says Second printing on the label. Re: Valiant "Free-view"?
Sounds like I got a 2nd edition. I was reading the Magic the Gathering comics, and that's where I discovered Valiant for the first time (and Visitor, which looked cool even though the Free-View was enacting a scene that never happens in the actual story)

I opened the raw one I have, and there's the copyright info and date at the bottom of the inside front cover, and nothing says 2nd edition. Hoping that means the raw one is a first edition.nycjadie wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 1:23 pmIt will say second print in the inside of the comic. You'll need to open it up. Can confirm - there is definitely a first and second printing for this.
