Could the HARD Corps implants replicate the Darque Power?

Post by ManofTheAtom »

In VH 1, Nettie infused an ordinary (presumably plastic) Mardi Gras mask with the Darque Power and left it on the street for Jack Boniface to find to allow him to indirectly access it after Lydia blocked him off from it with her bite.

If one such inanimate object could be infused with Darque Power to allow someone to wield it, could the implants be similarly imbued with Darque Power/necromantic energy to allow people to use it?

Given how much VEI is like VH 1, this question applies to both iterations.

Magic (or advanced science for those who prefer that) follows its own rules. Wouldn't be surprised if the spell only works with objects that can have symbolic meaning, like a mask.

Btw, in some cases "the Darque Power" was the name of one specific instance of necromantic energy.

Yeah. HARD Corps could get someone to enchant their implants, like Punk Mambo in VEI.
