Sounds interesting. Good creators involved. Looking forward to Kevin VanHook's contribution.

Indeed. But it's Van Hook now apparently, heh. Everyone keeps writing it like that, not sure why...magnusr wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 1:55 amSounds interesting. Good creators involved. Looking forward to Kevin VanHook's contribution.

Originally Van is a separate dutch word meaning "from". But I believe it should be spelled with lower case in that original use. And of course if should be pronounced "fann". In the US it is often joined with the name into one word and pronounced "vann".ManofTheAtom wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 6:33 am Indeed. But it's Van Hook now apparently, heh. And to post even more interesting things: in contrast to the german "von" or the french "de" it has nothing to do with a noble title, but just means that a person is originating from a specific place, in Kevin Van Hooks case from a village or city called "Hook". Could be Hook of Holland, eh, Greg?ManofTheAtom wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 9:53 amYeah.magnusr wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 8:55 amOriginally Van is a separate dutch word meaning "from".
