Armorclads #4
Reasonably enjoyable, by issue 4 I’m starting to remember who some of the characters are (but not many). Lots of action and explosions etc as the Armorclads try to rescue one of their members who is wanted for his special genetic code (?).
This series has 2 problems for me:
1) the characters haven’t been developed enough so I don’t care if they live or die. Plus the seem pretty interchangeable.
2) the ‘armour’ thing has been done before with the armorines so this doesn’t feel that original
One more issue left, if they can finish with a bang and ideally somehow link this to Valiant continuity then that would be pleasing.
3/5 - readable, give it a go.

Fan theory (let's see if the actual story is better than this...)Dallow Spicer1 wrote: Sun Jun 26, 2022 2:39 pm One more issue left, if they can finish with a bang and ideally somehow link this to Valiant continuity then that would be pleasing.
The ancient weapon they believe the guy's genetic code matches is an old X-O Manowar armor belonging to one of the ancestors of genetic code guy.

Let’s hope they have *something* up their sleeve! I’d be happy with the XO armour theory but that’s a pretty deep cut for the current writers to pull off…let’s seegreg wrote: Mon Jun 27, 2022 11:55 amFan theory (let's see if the actual story is better than this...)Dallow Spicer1 wrote: Sun Jun 26, 2022 2:39 pm One more issue left, if they can finish with a bang and ideally somehow link this to Valiant continuity then that would be pleasing.

Re: Armorclads #4
Probably would make for a decent movie sequence (which this entire series seems to have been made for anyway), but the artist isn't quite up to snuff to make it work in comics.
