Shadowman and Aric in savage avengers

Shadowman and Aric in savage avengers
So I don't really read new comics and when I do it's on [no links to illegal sites].to ...i decided to check out the old ghost rider 2099, in the list was a new ghost rider 2099 from last year.. in the process of checking those out I stumbled on savage avengers......
What the hell?
So somewhere in the series vei shadowman shows up as the person who is guiding people in the land of the dead, it's even drawn by zircher! Looks exactly like shadowman..Then I noticed that conan doesn't read like the old marvel or dh conan...its Aric! It feels like you are reading xo in the marvel universe..its weird.. same everything except the armor..
Then! I find conan 2099...haha.. hes got the same sword as xo in vei, and is practically in armor..
What's going on..is marvel absorbing the vei characters in their own way?
I'm supposed to be retired from here..but when I find really obvious stuff like this..I guess I have to come back..haha
