Valiant and CGC red labels (pre-2002) - how many remain?
The CGC Census wasn't updated regularly for several years after CGC started (opened to the public January 1, 2000), so the best information that we have for the original CGC "red label" (the universal label for "Modern Age" books printed 1975-present, at the time) shows that there were 110 Valiant Comics CGC graded with the red label (CGC graded prior to August 2001).

How many of these CGC red label Valiant books remain? Between the regrading, reholdering, and possible "unslabbing" associated with CGC books - are there still 100 out there?

Considering it's a 9.2 probably

For historical purposes I will state that I started slabbing Valiants after the red labels were retired. One of the reasons I started was because there were so few graded.

It would be interesting to find extant red label slabs with comics of different eras to see how they've held up. Good controls for when (if) it's time to re-slab a book.

I don't have ANY red label valiant.. but I do have
Between 10 -15 other publishers. Most are 9.9 and 10.0....I may have to dig through and see what I have
