I show that a CGC 9.8 Predator vs. Magnus 1 Platinum sold for $105 in Sept. 2004.dino wrote:Theres some sales I don't remember in that list:

I don't track the VF/NM sales of books, generally because they are
a fluctuating "percentage" of NM sale prices.

Actually, anytime a VF/NM sale is higher than the going rate for NM,x-omatic wrote:Unless it is a Predator vs Magnus TPBgreg wrote:

then it IS included in my sales records.
But how often does that happen?

This mention might mainly be because of me, John Hauser does almost all the local shows I go to and I've asked him in the past about Valiants. I also won a Predator vs. Magnus trade from him and picked it up at his house in person and talked to him a bit about why the book went for so much.John Hauser: "Valiant comics are showing a comeback in the marketplace..." pg. 80
Re: Overstreet 35 - Market Reports - Valiant mentions
Looked for the fun of it in Comic Book Market Place from june 1993. Lots of mention of Valiant. Some well understanding what was happening, some not. Even found a match:
/Magnus
John Chruscinski (Tropic Comics), 2005 wrote:"Even Valiants are making a comeback with pre-Unity and gold issues being some of our most requested titles." pg. 75.
Wonder how everything we say now will look in hind-sight.John Chruscinski (Tropic Comics), 1993 wrote:"Valiant seems to be slowing down - especially Magnus 25. Sales were not as good as expected. Turok #1 is still expected to do well." pg. 58
