wizard price guide

I just checked out a recent issue of Wizard and there was no listing of any Valiant comics in the price guide section. I guess Wizard's not really taking notice. There was though a short section on what was hot 10 years ago and had Ninjak 1 in that list.

speaking of which...what ever became of the guy who said he was from Wizard at the beginning of last month?...what was his name...Beuller??..

Ryan Penagos is his name, he is the (or one of?) Price Guide Editor for Wizard Magazine.

I wouldn't expect things to happen really quick on the Wizard guide, I'm sure they do more than show up and ask a few questions, then throw a bunch of Valiants in the guide. It will happen, based on what we're all seeing and reporting ... but who knows when.

I can almost predict what Wizard will say in the top 10 list when Valiant pops up in there again.....

"After years of.... Valiant has reamerged... collectors are scrambling to get ahold of... keep an eye on the hard to find pre-unity issues.... High grade CGC issues are selling for hundreds of dollars....blah blah blah"

When will they catch on? I can't think of too many early 90's books that are selling consistantly for hundreds of dollars in CGC 9.8 except the ulitimate Spider-Man's.
