I saw one of these in a bargain bin about a year or two ago. It wasn't on my want list, and I didn't buy it. I am pretty sure that I don't have a copy either. I am also pretty sure that I thought I did have a copy. But now I'm pretty sure that I do not.

The good news is, you didn't see one in a bargain bin. You saw the regular edition, free with the Wizard Era Special. It didn't have the silver foil on the front cover.

How do I know? Because every copy of the silver foil edition is in the hands of someone who knows what it is... and 99.99% of copies of this book are regular versions, not silver foil.

Oh ok, right on. All I remember is seeing a copy with "Wizard" foil stamping on it of some kind, thinking to myself, "oh I don't remember this" but looking on my want list and thinking "I guess I have it" and I left it there. It was the foil on the cover that specifically caught my eye. I guess I never knew that there were two foil versions!

You sure it wasn't the regular version in the bargain bin? I thought the Wizard version was found a number of years after Valiant folded and was offered by a Board Member here on these boards. I suspect besides what was offered here there likely are not any other copies out there.

100% confident only that I pulled one from the bargain bin and it had foil stamping on it. I remember it explicitly, because I had this want list back and forth with it. But from what Greg said above, it sounds like maybe there's a gold foil version AND this silver foil one. I must've seen the gold foil, which apparently I don't have that either. I should have bought it, but I've been in this "stick to the want list" phase for a couple of years now. I got sick of buying dups.

Greg and I are chatting about this now, and I just realized that no one is going to believe me and my credibility is going to tank hahahhahaahah, But I swear to God I pulled a Wizard foil of this book from a Graham Crackers Comics bargain bin, looked at it, wondered why it had foil and rationalized that it must've all along and I just didn't remember and put it back.
