Best 'Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe' Fight Scene?

Alright, let's hear it. Which was your favorite fight scene in the entire series? In honor of our monthly comic polls, you will be able to choose two options.

Although I tend to believe that Livewire had the best part when she drew the electricity and shot it at Ninjak, I think the overall best fight scene was the Ninjak/Bloodshot. The flow from sword to hand-to-hand to gun was fantastic, it hardly missed a beat.

I was talking with Aaron about this last night, and he mentioned that most fight scenes take roughly 4 to 6 beats (think music/dancing here) when recording. There was a part (and I hope I am quoting him correctly here) where it was a 20+ beat fight scene (I think he said 24 beats). Roughly, 20+ seconds without changing camera angles, just ongoing fighting, yep that gets my vote!

Tough call here for top 2 - I voted Ninjak Vs. Bloodshot & Gilad Vs. Roku's goons, but I also thought the X-O battle & the A&A battle were equally awesome for different reasons. They were all definitely fun to watch!

I picked the A&A fight and Gilad vs the Goons.

A&A had some great character moments. The Gilad fight looked real cool when it slowed down. Close third is the fight with Bloodshot.

Bloodshot (freaking brutal!!!!) and A&A, with all those combined "stupid" moves; it was a blast to watch.

It won’t win this poll but, Gilad vs Roku’s Goons, was F’n dope. It got chopped up in editing (Ninjak boarding the plane scene, in between) and didn’t have enough blood splatter IMO. But it’s hands down my favorite, followed by....

It won’t win this poll but, Gilad vs Roku’s Goons, was F’n dope. It got chopped up in editing (Ninjak boarding the plane scene, in between) and didn’t have enough blood splatter IMO.

That's why I didn't pick that scene. It was good but a fight against Gillie and his ax should have been more gory. But I can understand the choice to not make it so.

1. Ninjak vs. X-O Manowar- I honestly can't believe they pulled this off, let alone made it even halfway believable. Derek Theler had probably my favorite performance of the bunch.

2. Ninjak vs. Archer & Armstrong- Although I think they could have done a better job at portraying Archer's powers and really showing him go head-to-head with Ninjak, Armstrong was perfect. It was a lot of fun, and something I could literally see happening in a comic book.

3. Ninjak vs. MI6 Agents/Capshaw- I really think this one's getting overlooked. Ninjak was a badass. He was cutting bullets in half for god's sake!! I have to say though, what is it with Ninjak just taking bullets? Doesn't he usually just dodge?

4. Ninjak vs. Bloodshot- Really awesome, but no single moment really blew me away. What was with the puffs of smoke? At first I thought Ninjak did it, but then they began to appear all over the place?

5. Ninjak vs. Roku- Roku's hair is surprisingly cool. The fight itself was fine, but nothing really to say.

6. Gilad vs. Goons- Not saying it was bad, but I didn't appreciate the lack of blood. And again, why the hell is he blocking bullets with his arm? It would have been WAY cooler if he simply killed them all before they could get a good shot in, and then maybe letting him get shot once or twice, but acting like it's not even an issue.

7. Ninjak vs. Livewire- The Get Valiant! and WhoDooTV guys need to chill the *SQUEE* out. Literally nothing happens. Livewire uses her electricity powers on Ninjak (could've sworn her powers worked a little different in the comics), and Ninjak dodges. Great.

I have to say though, what is it with Ninjak just taking bullets? Doesn't he usually just dodge?

I just chalked it up to amped up kevlar. Colin is a techno-wizard.

I went with Ninjak vs. Bloodshot. I've now loaded the whole series on my Plex instance so I can watch it again easily!

PS - Capshaw was still my favourite actress. Wowserx.
