CGC dealer issue need opinions.

I wanted to get everyone's input on a what seems like a circumstance that may turn into an issue with a CGC authorized witness. And due to a possible misunderstanding I dont want to name any names and wanted some input on it. And for the record I have been polite and professional and understanding towards the dealer at no point did I make an *SQUEE* our of myself.

I am new to these services and I have only had two comics sent off to two different authorized dealers. one was less than stellar the other was great. So im batting 50/50.

I decided to try a third one that I found on the CGC forums. Before 3/16 my last communication on march 3 to the principle contact I was told my book had been signed and would be sent to CGC "this weekend". Since 3/3 was a Saturday I could only interpret at best the book would be sent on sunday the following day or at the latest on the week end of 3/9. I confirmed the CGC invoice given to me by them was correct and told them i would wait to follow up in a timely manner with CGC to confirm they had received it. After that I had no further communication. I didnt want to hound them and act impatient. Its con season and I imagine they are busy busy. I have a lot of money in the book I sent as well as sentimental value. It was not something I was ever going to sell or flip.

Since the last email on 3/3 I followed up with CGC today in which no book was in their system under the invoice, my name, my email address or their company name. I did send a new email after the conversation with the wonderful people at CGC to the principle contact to which I have had no reply.

Question 1. At what point do I start to be concerned? I do realize with my lack of experience I really dont know what is acceptable and what is acceptable practices.

Question 2. Has anyone had their books lost and how did you handle it?
