I just received the first batch of grades and overall, I am pretty happy. I wish I could have received a higher grade on the Q&W 1 Most Variant Cover and the Ninja-K Brush Metal books, but it is what it is.

Some of these may be listed for sale in order to find a 9.8 copy. facepalm

I ran into this exact problem with my X-O Manowar brushed metal. Knowing my dumb arse, I probably asked for pressing on that book, which in return jacked up the book and caused the 9.4. Going in though, I really thought I had a 9.8, guess not

Thanks, Steve! :)

The final 4 books have been graded and I updated the original OP. Overall, I am very happy with the grades, but I wish the Deathstroke Variant would have graded higher. :(

Could you share the grader's notes (if any) on the Ninja-K Brushed Metal? I'm just wondering what they are looking for in these metal covers. If these are partially "hand-made" or "hand fixed" to the comic I would think there would be handling marks or finger prints somewhere on them. :? It certainly looks great in the case.

“Bend right bottom of front cover” are the grader notes on the Ninja-K Brushed Metal 9.4.

Ok, thanks. I was just wondering if it would be a finger print or smudge from handling. I suppose a bend could be from handling or putting the cover on....but, more likely from weight or pressure applied afterward.
