Good luck, Brother! Will you be selling some of these slabs when you get them back? There are a few on my Want List.

Some, eventually, especially if I already have one in a matching or better condition. But there are a number that are for sure staying in my personal collection (the Bloodshot JDF variants, rounds 2 & 3 golds, at least one of each LOTG)

I plan on posting pics as soon as my books arrive. I've been following the tracking, and there are 3 shipments (72 slabs) that have been listed as being in my area and "out for delivery" since 7/23. I'm nervous as to where they actually are. They should have been delivered a week ago

That's not a fun position to be in. You don't have many options other than to hope that today's the day they finally get delivered.
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

I realized this morning that my local post office left me a voicemail earlier in the week, so I called them back, expecting to find that they now had them. Well, they don't have them, and I was told she had to bump the case to consumer affairs and I should get a call from them within a few days. It seems they never left the original facility in my city. (It's unclear whether there was actual confirmation that they were still there.)

Thanks. I was going to wait to get the books before posting the grades, but I went ahead and added them to the OP.

There are a bunch on non-Valiant in those shipments as well which were heading to eBay, including a Gotham Sirens #1 9.8, Gotham Sirens #1 2nd print 9.6, and the Venom variant cover of the ASM issue with the first Anti-Venom (569?) 9.6.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

Spoke with a USPS rep today. Apparently, even though "Priority" mail is only supposed to take 1–3 business days, they said Registered mail can take a lot longer. I saw something that said 10-14 days. The packages were shipped July 19th and 20th. They won't consider them lost until 30 days.

On another note, I recently ordered some HCs from DCBS, and the tracking claims they attempted to deliver on 7/31, but the employee didn't have access to the building, so they would try to deliver the next business day. No word on that since.

Tracking updates now indicate that they tried to delivery but there wasn't a valid recipient available so they left a notice, but there is no notice.

Interesting. The green label normally means "this book looks like the grade in the corner, but it has (an unwitnessed signature, a missing coupon, a missing centerfold, etc.)".
Maybe since the grade in the corner is 7.5, there's no need to "qualify" the 7.5. In fact, it probably looks better than a 7.5. I think those can be blue since there's no confusion about the grade.
