Valiant's ETERNAL WARRIOR Gets A New AWAKENING
http://www.newsarama.com/33158-valiant- ... ening.html
Following the conclusion of Wrath of the Eternal Warrior last year, Valiant's Eternal Warrior is getting an "awakening" in a new standalone one-shot coming May 10. Eternal Warrior: Awakening by Robert Venditti and Renato Guedes goes back to the "earliest adventures" of Gilad Anni-Padda, and is said to homage his original first adventure in the 1990s Eternal Warrior #1 by Jim Shooter and John Dixon.

Good to see another EW story. He should be a mainstay.

On the brink of carving out victory in the most violent battle of his life, Gilad Anni-Padda suffers a devastating injury. He awakens weeks later in a strange land, nursed back to health but with no memory of his past. A tribe has shown him compassion in an age of cruelty, and he will return their gift in kind. Now the real violence will begin…
Love it... especially the "in a strange land" part!

Will the other two one-shots feature Armstrong and Ivar in solo-adventures too?

Really should. Sad this is only a 1-shot.

I don't like one shots. I'm a little ocd when it comes to collecting. And my ocd doesn't allow for a mishmash of issues all crammed together even in a section dedicated to any specific hero.
I Don't use lables and if I did it would look stupid.
I Miss the good old days.

That being said minis suck too for me and my ocd. But if it's a charater and story that interests me I'll give it a shot.
As a loyal person I'm more willing to stick it out in a ongoing ongoing even if it has borring moments.
As it caters to a compleat set.

Today a title ended for me Savage was a thrill ride and an epic adventure.
Next week Harbinger renegad ends untill nobody knows when it picks back up. And in a month Divinity 3 ends. This nonplayer guy used to spend 35.00 a month on Valiant not including Variants. unfortunately Valiant canceled all my titles :?
Untill bloodshot Reborn #0 or xo manowar ongoing it's the walking dead for me as my only remaining comic I get.
Valiant wtf get your flork together your losing money (if only from me) facepalm
I Miss the good old days.

I understand your pain. The most organization I've got going on is having the tab for the dividers on the right side for ongoing series, and on the left side for mini series (the write on tabs are on both sides of the dividers I bought from BCW). I'll probably store this one shot at the end of the Wrath series since that's what it's coming out after release-wise. Or I'll put it in the 'Misc' section. I'm thinking about getting a different color of dividers (all my current ones are black), maybe blue or red to stand out. And I'd use the black for series/mini-series that have completed, and the other color for series that are still currently ongoing. :hm:

I thought the same and they should; 90's hooks could be earlier Andromeda (before A&A) and the Immortal Enemy (whenever)

My guess for the other one-shots is that given the ones announced are by FVL and VDitti, the others might be written by the remaining core Valiant writers. I think Dysart mentioned last year that he was writing a one shot, but I may be mistaken. And perhaps Kindt will contribute a one-shot, although it seems like he's writing about half of Valiant's line already...

It's the Kindt-verse at the moment. He's probably doing one and Dysart is a safe bet, too. He did mention it.
