Likelihood of Wrath getting a deluxe version?

All of my issues of Wrath of the Eternal Warrior are on comixology as I only started reading it halfway through the run, so the plan is to buy the trades to add to my rapidly-increasing Valiant book collection 14 issues would make a lovely sized Deluxe edition... I've been searching online & on Amazon but couldn't find mention if Wrath is getting the deluxe treatment so I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows or has heard anything? Thanks!

The Deadshot Reborn Deluxe came out on December 13th, the final issue (#13) was on May 25th.

I would expect at least a similar six-month turn-around, if not longer.

On the other hand, still no Imperium Deluxe Edition in the works from what I can see, and the final issue came out that same month. Then again, Imperium is the most anticipated for me, at least, so perhaps I'm impatient.

I would still prefer to have the older issues of the eternal warrior in a deluxe first, lets hope they do it, after they release the second shadowman one ( Yes, i also want this one)

The final TPB, "A Deal With A Devil," is solicited for a March-15 release. Then it'll take some time before they'll release the hardcover. I wouldn't expect it before June/July.

Not to be a buzzkill or anything, but don't hold your breath waiting for a Wrath Deluxe. So far, VEI has cancelled 5 series early: Shadowman, EW Vol. 1, Imperium, Wrath of the EW and Gen Zero. With the exception of Shadowman Vol. 1, none of these series has ever been put out in hardcover trade, and outside of Shadowman Vol. 2, which has never been released, none of these have ever been solicited. Dinesh has even gone on record as saying there will be no Imperium Deluxe (you can do a search, the tweet was posted here at some point.)

VEI's system for Deluxe appears to be ongoings, scheduled short series (i.e. Q&W, Ivar), events and popular minis (i.e. The Valiant, Dr. Mirage, Divinity and Faith). Cancelled series, however do not generally appear to get made in this format. While I could never say for sure Wrath won't get one, I think you'd be best off not to expect it.

It makes sense to publish Deluxe Editions for series and story lines that are still going to be continued but I wouldn't see it as a rule of thumb. It's only been 5 years since Valiant started publishing again. If there is such rule then there will be a time for breaking it, however, rkjock1 could be right and it's probably a good idea not to have high hopes anyway. When it comes to the Deluxe Editions you'll just never know if and when.

pretty sure they will do a wrath hardcover. it's the definitive "modern" run on the character and the 14 issues are practically the perfect movie-pitch. you want to hand over a nice bound book to potentially interested parties...

Just want to put my 2 cents in. Wrath has been my favorite VEI series to date. I support the Deluxe treatment, and hope that it's the complete 14 issue run.
