I Miss the good old days.

Re: Valiants unfinished threads
The pregnantes woman was Diana Aguilar, Gamete's mother. She's in the current Generation Zero comic.
I'm sure most of the question will be answered in future comics, or we specifically left unsolved so that future writers would have plot material.
1. What happened to the other surviving members of Generation Zero? Titan, Ramsey, Hive, etc.
2. What's up with Vincent Van Goat's pregnancy?
3. In the second arc of Bloodshot we saw a storage room full of dead membees of Team Chainsaw. Will we ever learn more about that, and if there are still surviving members of the project?
4. Is Flatline still alive?
5. What's X-O Manowar's favorite color?

I want to know what happened to hive/traveler. Gen Zero would be a logical place for them to pop up.
Dead hand's specimens on the moon should become the new Vine home world.
Pete's dad who is presumable still in a coma after toddler Pete tried to activate him.
What went on with the grey goo before bloodshot #1?
Mary Maria's sisters?

In the original Valiant Universe the Vine/Spider Aliens had a base on the moon right? Maybe that's what the Dead Hand storyline was trying to set up for the next writer.BugsySig wrote:

Not sure if this applies, but I don't think it was ever explained just what exactly happened to Rai after he pulled the sword from the tree and the cherry blossom petals covered/healed his wounds.

Gilad has got to be the character who draw the shortest straw, when it comes to continuity. Nothing in his separate series is tied with anything.bygranddesign wrote:And Nergal was supposed to be released from his imprisonment in 2000 years because Gilad killed the Mother Earth TreeBugsySig wrote:And his daughter for that matter.ShadowTuga wrote:Gilad's son who became the sword of Nergal.

No one. The vine baby, however, was the kid seen later in the series discovering the other Vine out there while Alaric sacked Rome.nonplayer wrote:Xo ManOwar #1 who is the baby swapped out by the vine?

Nope, you're right, Phoenix... they crashed on Mars. So simple answer why Aric hasn't checked = he doesn't know.Phoenix8008 wrote:I thought Dead Hand crashed on Mars, not the moon?? Maybe I'm wrong, it's way too late (re: early) here currently.

I assume the babies taken from Earth were raised to be slaves for the Vine on their ships, and later generations of those original babies are the slaves who Aric rescued now living back on Earth, including Saana and Volo.Keith wrote:No one.nonplayer wrote:Xo ManOwar #1 who is the baby swapped out by the vine?

We never really found out the full significance of that particular swap though did? Opportunity for a future writer to expand on this.greg wrote:I assume the babies taken from Earth were raised to be slaves for the Vine on their ships, and later generations of those original babies are the slaves who Aric rescued now living back on Earth, including Saana and Volo.Keith wrote:No one.nonplayer wrote:Xo ManOwar #1 who is the baby swapped out by the vine?

I always figured it was shown to explain how the "plantings" were started off. Could've been any particular Vine and/or Human baby. Take a Vine baby, hybridize with the human baby's blood, take the human baby for slave labor, leave the Vine/human hybrid to populate Earth.Dallow Spicer1 wrote:We never really found out the full significance of that particular swap though did? I just went back to read the scene again and see what you mean. They went so far as to have the mother call the baby by name, Avagis. I read or herd from some place back when xo 1 came out that that first issue had a lot of secrets hidden amongst its pages. I doubt the baby having a name is significant - seems to me natural that a mother would refer to her own child with a term more personal than 'my baby': I just put that one down to 'good writing'.
But hey, who knows
