Archer & Armstrong Vol.1 Deluxe edition reprint
I've heard that it was mentioned that A&A Deluxe Vol.1 was going to be reprinted. Does anybody know anymore about when this should be expected? I have yet to read any A&A, but want to start soon. If I don't hear anything about a reprint, I'll just have to buy the trades.

Is the Deluxe Ed. sold out then? Can't get hold of it?

Weird. I thought VEI would more or less be constantly restocking these, especially the #1 deluxe eds - they're the books most people are going to pick up if they want to dive in to a VEI book a little deeper than picking up a TPB to 'try out'

Re: Archer & Armstrong Vol.1 Deluxe edition reprint
I've been asking Dinesh this question on twitter for a few months. He has typically responded with a thumbs up or a general statement such as "stay tuned." I imagine if we do see a reprint, it will be re-solicited. In that case, I wouldn't expect it until at least February. It's also possible we see an omnibus of the entire series rather than a reprint of volume 1. In that regard, Dinesh once responded that they were tossing around some ideas when I asked him about the reprint.
I got tired of waiting and was lucky to find a like new copy of the book for $50 on the Amazon market place, but they routinely are being sold for $100 or more.

It's probably cheaper to pick up a run of the floppies instead, don't pay a ridiculously inflated price for a £25 book.wwise03 wrote:I've been asking Dinesh this question on twitter for a few months. Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Definitely, but they're not worth a hundred bucks.jeremycoe wrote:Those hardcovers are so nice, thoughShadowman99 wrote:It's probably cheaper to pick up a run of the floppies instead, don't pay a ridiculously inflated price for a £25 book.wwise03 wrote:I've been asking Dinesh this question on twitter for a few months. Re: Archer & Armstrong Vol.1 Deluxe edition reprint
I agree with others that it may be cheaper to buy the individual issues and have them bound into a single HC. For example, you could bind the 25+ issues using DFAB binding for under $25.00. You will have to pay shipping both ways so that will add to your costs. Compare that to buying both Deluxe HC's to have the same content minus the extra art pages, etc.
Check out Houchen Bindery on the web.

You could always PM Caxiotis here on the board, he binds books himself. Check out his recent photos in the 'Bound Books' thread, looks pretty good to me.
Maybe he'd be able to do it at a decent price for you, from one V-fan to another?
