NYCC report

Post by kjjohanson »

Just got to the con, and naturally one of my first stops was the Valiant booth. Seems like a bigger setup this year but Atom says it's the same space (just a lot more stuff available). In liege of the usual convention preview, they're handing out the reprint for Faith #1.

I'll be picking up a batch of the con exclusives and be making them available for cost plus shipping after the weekend.

More to come...

KJ: :thumb: :high-five: MANY tHANKS FOR THIS THREAD!!!

I hope that 24 hours from now I will be really, really excited about the future of the line. :hope: that we get a Shadowman ongoing and a JD book continuing his mega-arc. That would be enough for me, but bring on the goods, Big V!!!!!

+1 - that's the one I'm highly interested in! If you can get extra copies of that, KJ - I'll be happy to pay you for one!

just peaked on sleaz-bay and noticed people are already selling the Faith POP's. Found them as cheap as $29.99, and as high as $54.99.

Someone is making some money here...

To be fair, the $29.99 listing had free shipping. I don't think they're making much paying $15 for it and then paying to ship it as well. That being said, I'll wait for these to be $10 on Amazon with prime shipping :D I'll just have to suffer without a "Convention Exclusive" sticker.

I'll see you there on Saturday. Bringing eight other family members with me. It's their first con and they're all so psyched all of them will be wearing cosplay stuff. I tried to warn them that it's a hard enough day even without trudging around in a Halloween costume...

Yeah. Easier to carry. One (maybe two) is for me. That means I have ten for the board. Price is $15 plus shipping.

I'm going to grab a bunch of the exclusive comics and offer them up here as well. More on that tomorrow…

 Virgins! We always remember our first! I haven't forced the boys with me yet, mainly because I want to enjoy the con my way;)

I think that's only being handed out at the signing today. I assumed it wasn't for sale from the announcement.

What's the chance of doing video a tour of the table. Start at one end and walk it looking at the swag and getting a look around?

Love to get a Faith POP when you make them available.
I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.
