Re: Baltimore Comic Con
I can't remember a weekend with so many HIGH profile shows happening all at once. Of course with the rise in popularity of comic properties in the main stream we all know there has been an explosion of pop culture shows but here we have 3 of, what I would consider, the top 10-15 ranked shows all happening on the same weekend! Baltimore, which has a long and storied history and includes the Harvey awards, Dragoncon, which is a HUGE show in Atlanta also with a long history and solid reputation and Fan Expo Canada in Toronto which has had massive attendance for the last few years! Unfortunately I will be attending none of them, but have fun those that do.

And Salt Lake Comic Con, which I think boasts more attendance than all of those others ... but has less actually comic book contentJace wrote:I can't remember a weekend with so many HIGH profile shows happening all at once. Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

WOW Salt Lake is this weekend too! That is indeed a lot of the most highly attended shows all in one weekend. It will be interesting to see if the attendance numbers are down for any of the shows.

Re: Baltimore Comic Con
Was in San Antonio this weekend for a different reason, but an Anime con, San Japan was going on. Incredible amount of cosplay. Literally thousands and thousands in full gear all over the place on Riverwalk. I'm curious how many shows, if any, have more cosplay going on. It was literally just about every attendee. At same time, I heard from friends Baltimore was off the hook.
