I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

I chose good range and ice cream. Lol good call op for allowing two choices. Basically, if the story is intact, that is a good reading copy for me. My first reading copy of the original Green Goblin's death was a coverless marvel tales reprint and I still have it. :thumb:

IMO, I also think a "good reader copy" should also include a readable spine so you can identify the book on a shelf. I'll turn down TPB's and hardcovers at decent prices if the spine looks messed up.

A good reader copy is one that you can read, but also sturdy enough to not actually fall apart in your hands.

This. A good reader copy is "beat, but complete."

Same. 'Good' because for me as long as the cover isn't ripped and there aren't pages missing then it's readable and that's the main point of a comic. Ice cream because I think that as long as the story can be read then it doesn't *SQUEE* matter what state the cover and spine are in.

How about page color on modern things like preunity which some unbagged or poorly preserved copies have started to turn offwhite.

Imo, if you can read the story from beginning to end, then it's a reading copy. I have low standards. Lol!
