Printing error discovered in Defiant's Good Guys #2
I discovered a printing error in Good Guys #2 from Defiant Comics. Props though go to Corvette Jim, whose Defiants I purchased. He left a couple notes on comic bags that led me to discover what he already had.
The error version has a faded Jim Shooter editorial page and the corrected version is how it was meant to be with color.
I need the help of anyone who has copies of this book. Please check your copies and let me know how many have the faded page error and how many have been corrected so I can get an idea of the % of errors that exist. Of the 6 copies of this book that I own, 3 have the error.
Here's a picture of the error and corrected version.

In both my copies the headline "Jim Shooter" is a very light gray. No other words are faded.StarBrand wrote:I discovered a printing error in Good Guys #2 from Defiant Comics. The printing error is that on the Jim Shooter editorial page of Good Guys #2, some of the copies have the words Jim Shooter and other words near it faded out. Other copies are corrected and those words are in color.

I'll try to post pics of both versions here this weekend. Thanks.

Thanks for your response Magnus. It sounds like you have two error copies.
I took a closer look at an error and a corrected copy side by side. The entire Jim Shooter Editor-In-Chief error page is actually white, and the corrected page is blue.

I have a corrected edition ... of course now I'm on the hunt for an error edition.

PS: Error aside, its still not enough to make the book worth anymore than the quarter bins it generally lives in, imho. It'll never carry anything close to the weight of The Birth of the Defiant Universe...

The print run was high on Good Guys 2. I need more people to step up and post here as to whether they have error or regular editions to get a gauge of the breakdown.

Anyone else feel like checking their copies of Good Guys 2 for this printing error to help me get a better idea of what % have the error? Thanks very much.

I have one error copy. I think that is my only copy of Good Guys 2.

Make it 7 "error grays" and 4 blues.
