I haven't signed up yet, but I was messing around and found a coupon code: SAV3

Looks like it gave me $3 off, but I don't know if it can just be applied by anyone or if it's tied to my visit.

It looks like there's a $5 off "refer-a-friend" option, too.

So there will be 650,000 copies of the July Rai issue? If true that is great news for Valiant!

There'll be 650,000 of something Rai. It might only be a free download code (nothing physical), but if it's an actual physical item... that's pretty awesome.

Either way this means Valiant sells 650,000 copies though correct? Crap I misread. I saw you said free download. Does this mean no money for Valiant?

It looks like there's a $6 code: future6

EDIT: It didn't work for me, not sure if that's because I've been a subscriber in the past or if it's just a bad code.

I'm confident Valiant would not be putting out any floppy at a 650,000 print run, though that much exposure of any kind would be a good thing. I'm skeptical,

Dinesh tweeted a picture of three custom Funko figures for Valiant. One was Rai. A clue?

I hate vinyl figures. They all look relatively the same. It's plastic so it will be floating in our Oceans soon enough, it never breaks down. I got a tmnt in my first and only loot crate and it's packed away in storage because I don't care to show it off what's the point theyr a dime a dozen.
I'm happy Valiant is competing with everyone by putting out something that every one else is. Because it works and obviously makes money but I think vinyl figures are lame. Any Valiant figure will be great to see because it's valiant and I may go run out and get one single one.
I Miss the good old days.

The figures in the picture he tweeted were CUSTOM figures - the word 'custom' in this sense typically refers to one-off figures made by a non-professional, so unless these are in fact early prototypes, which is a notion that there's no suggestion to support, then it's a waste of time even talking about this picture as if this Rai figure is going to be in the Loot Crate.

Dinesh included the official Funko twitter account in his tweet. Because they are custom, they're also (technically) illegal to associate with an official product/company name. Seems weird for him to "brag" to official Funko that he's got some knockoffs.

Whether we'll get a Valiant Funko in the Loot Crate remains to be seen, but I'd seriously doubt if Dinesh made any reference to Funko without there being some kind of (upcoming) relationship.

This page seems like a natural place that Dinesh would want to put a Valiant logo: http://funko.com/pages/licensors" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Probably to show Funko there is interest in the figures. I tried about a year ago approaching them for an exclusive XO figure but the minimum was way too high for me to commit

Similar feeling as Ed on this one: could be trying to suggest to Funko that they ought to be producing Valiant figures ;)

I'm not convinced there's any more to it than that myself, but we'll see when the crates come I guess :)

It's probably just a digital code for something like 4001 A.D.
