I agree with your frustration. Just when you are getting close to having all the Gold books, another one comes out.
Now I need three #1 Gold CGC 9.8 slabs to have the entire collection.

Totally agree. I am down to golds or linewide variants. Otherwise it is getting bonkers with the variants.
BTW: those four copies for sale on eBay earlier this week were all sold by the same store in Vancouver, Wa (outside of Portland). I think that they may have been given out at ComicsPro, since that was in Portland last weekend. That's my hypothesis anyway.

I had to stop getting shop variants. There's too many variants and really, most shop variants don't hold a crazy value. It seems you can buy just about any of them for under $20 and quite a few under $10.
