This sounds pretty cool. I couldn't find a price, but I guess we should know when solicitations are released in the next week or so.

Found the price on another website, $4.99. Sounds good to me for 48 pages.

Comes out Feb, so one month after the 'standard' issue. A must for any Valiant fan.

Also, Imperium #13 is coming in Feb featuring Livewire and HARD Corps!

Super excited for the Feb solicitations.

If there has ever been a more deserving book, I don't know it.

I quite like this idea of a 'Director's Cut' comic book as a special one-off. Wouldn't want to see it as a regular occurrence, but as an occasional one-off it's quite novel. Also looking forward to seeing the pencil only artwork! :)

Lewis is an absolute fiend of a good artist. This is really a cool idea, I can't wait to get one.

Could be just me, but I think the b&w artwork shown in this edition is actually marker rendered, not pencils. I get the impression from seeing Lewis post his progress work on Facebook that he does very sketchy, loose pencils only & then draws inks/markers on top of that. Not sure why they're calling it pencils in the promotional articles...

This looks amazing and I want this now lol.
Lewis' mix of ink and copics are definitely worthy of a B+W only edition. I would love to see more B+W issues with artists like Lewis LaRosa , Mico Suayan and CAFU. These 3 would make an awesome combo for a special event Valiant ......... Make This Happen !

It was pretty funny that I was just talking about this several weeks ago. They could not have chosen a better artist to do this for. Lewis's work is amazing and sometimes some of the detail is lost in the coloring. That's not to put anybody down it just happens with detailed artist's like this . I think it could be very cool if they did this with some other issues. But nonetheless I'm really happy to see this. :high-five:

+1 to that, especially in the case of CAFU. Dude is another amazing b&w artist.
