Where it says "Finale" under Imperium, are they referring to the arc or the book? It seems a little vague and ambiguous.

It's the Vine Imperative- Finale. Aka the finale of the Vine Imperatvie arc, I think.

I'm really digging the new Punk Mambo look. Can't wait to read this arc (O:D) and Bloodshot. Not that excited about Faith because it's not JD writing her, but let's give the new writer a shot.

I also hope this is not Imperium's final issue. Best VEI book, imho.

Really hyped for Ninjak, the more I see of the Shadowman arc the more exciting it looks! Faith looks great, I'll definitely be pre-ordering that and the new Bloodshot arc looks good too. With A&A and Divinity II ahead 2016 is looking like a good year for Valiant!

Only 7 books this month, but they all look excellent. As for Imperium, Dinesh has said it isn't ending at 12.

I hope this isn't the end of Imperium, true, it has been said there are some more story arcs to tell but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll see #13 in the Feb solicitations (I hope we do), rather, that we may see some mini's at some stage...

Guys...they put "Finale" in the solicit for the end of EVERY arc. Stop being a bunch of Chicken Littles. Dinesh said it's continuing, just like last month when people freaked out about Rai's latest "Finale." When something is ending, they'll make sure to tell everyone before the solicit, like they did with Ivar, Timewalker.

That said, everything looks awesome in January. Really looking forward to all of thee books.

Seven titles (among which two minis) are definitely not enough, as I'll be reading them all

Faith's title blurb got me thinking on Valiant's alien races: besides the Vine and their plantings, Izak's race (whose name has not been stated, I believe) and the guys from Dead Drop (again, their name eludes me), we have been shown more thanks to the Armor Hunters (Reebo and Malgam humanoid types included) and the X-O Army. All these without mentioning the eerie entities from Divinity, The Fall of Harbinger and Imperium's Angela.
I wonder if I forgot any other, as well as if they are going to use any of those I mentioned or an altogether new one. Any thoughts on this?

Since VEI released "The Valiant" and "Divinity" in a Deluxe HC, I was hoping for a "Book of Death" Deluxe HC with all the "Fall of..." titles included.

Hopefully, this is in the works.

Both of those have only been collected as TPBs for now. The hardcovers haven't been released yet. I wouldn't be surprised if a Deluxe HC for the Book of Death event is in the planning stages. The Harbinger Wars and Armor Hunters events were each collected as Deluxe HCs after being initially collected as TPBs.

I imagine that's what's going to happen. But they probably won't solicit it until all of the Legends of the Geomancer ships, and I would think not until the BoD trade(s?) ship. (I wouldn't be surprised if there was a trade of the Fall of one-shots.

One of the benefits of dropping by the Valiant offices is sometimes there's cover art for a one-shot that hasn't been announced yet. Not saying that there *was,* but I wouldn't say anything about it if sometime caught my eye.

I'd expect the same. Trades for BoD and the Fall of... issues, then a deluxe with those plus LotG. Hopefully it includes those digital preludes, too. It would even be cool to have The Valiant included, but I doubt that would happen.

You are correct.. thus the wishing part. I wish for VEI to change their mind and subsequently include it in some future BOD DLX.
