Alright, I've been looking for 45 minutes and give up. Wasn't there a cover with a 1950s looking gumshoe-style Shadowman with a trenchcoat standing in front of an old chevy? It was an early image and I recall people being a little confused by it.

That's Josiah Boniface, though he never actually appears in that issue.
