Far far away still one of my favorite arcs
Pere's work on that arc was inspired
Look forward to seeing him on Timewalker

"Far far away" was awesome!bygranddesign wrote:Far far away still one of my favorite arcs
I literally hunted-down as many original covers as could be found from that arc (not an easy task...) by Pere Pérez and Clayton Henry.
I remember reading this arc and thinking, "this is everything a comicbook should be and more..."

I don't have any covers, but I do have the page when Archer walked in on Armstrong and Mary-MariaDirtbagSailor wrote:"Far far away" was awesome!bygranddesign wrote:Far far away still one of my favorite arcs

I recently bought a cover from Pere that was NOT from this story arc, but looked like it should have been.
It was an Amazon Kindle Worlds story called "ARCHER & ARMSTRONG: BLACK DRAGON" and just looked like it fits.

Who doesn't love a pterodactyl? That would have been a great regular cover.DirtbagSailor wrote:NICE!kjjohanson wrote:I don't have any covers, but I do have the page when Archer walked in on Armstrong and Mary-MariaDirtbagSailor wrote:"Far far away" was awesome!bygranddesign wrote:Far far away still one of my favorite arcs

Re: Pere Perez teaming up with FVL again
Just posting an update from Pere:
"After many issues of Archer and Armstrong with Fred Van Lente featuring things like guys punching dinosaurs, trees being thrown at ufos, nazi lamas, among other things, I can say that today I've drawn the weirdest splash since we are working together. Make sure you get your copy of Timewalker 9 and correct me if I'm wrong."
