Could this be setting up an Eternal Warrior/Geomancer book for the late Fall '15?
Also, I'm a bit over "major character death" as a hook for stories anymore. From any company. The industry has made me that way. I recall when telling really great stories didn't need that "shock, wow" factor....now get off my lawn.

Though considering there're a number of future-death backups, I would be surprised if Shadowman weren't one. This event seems extremely focused in addressing continuity as well as teasing future events.
