Toys R Us Minimates

Hey all! I stopped in at the closest Toys R Us to me (100 miles away) to see if they had any of the new minimates in stock. Apparently some are available at store level but not on the website.

Unfortunately, my store hasn't received any yet, but the helpful clerk gave me these details:

The warehouse (main distribution center) is out but has 168 cases on order of the Bloodshot/X-O combo. Those generally arrive within two weeks to the warehouse, then starts shipping to stores in another 3 weeks.

If your store doesn't have any yet, call them in a couple of weeks. There's also an option on the website to be notified when the product becomes available there.

I will have to stop in and check the local Toys R Us soon! I have been looking for a "Chopper" Star Wars figure for Miss Jay's B-day, but I am sure she would love these too. Gotta love shopping for a wife that loves Star Wars and Valiant #winning!

They don't come with everything as originally advertised, like Bloodshot doesn't have an alternate skinned face. But they are still really freaking cool!!!

I think that's in a different 'variant' set, isn't it? The one with Aric only half covered in the XO suit? I'm still not sure how to get that set.

Yes. That is the Battle Damaged variant set. You can order that through DCBS or a similar service which purchases through Diamond Select, or through your LCS.

This set is available only at TRU. I'm stopping tomorrow as soon as I'm back from Vacation to check my local store!

Dude, if you can hook up a Valiant Brother From A Canadian Mother with an extra set if you get any - I'd be mighty grateful!

While I'm not looking for one to be bought for me I was wondering what the odds are of them being available in Canada.

Just a note that I posted on the FB fan group, the image on their website is NOT what you're getting. The TRU combo is different. Bloodshot is shirtless and has a sword, Aric's suit is yellow and he has a little green "energy punch" not the energy sword. The image on their site is for the combo that will be released this summer to everyone else.

OK, so does that mean there will be three versions: The TRU exclusive, the Battle Damage Diamond exclusive and a general release?

No luck at my local store, but going to try another one nearby this week. That one always has more of the collectibles. Hopefully I'll have some more luck. Don't feel like paying as much in shipping as the minimates cost.

Great idea. I bought mine directly from the Toys R Us website, and shipping was more expensive (only by a dollar or less, but still). Not cool.

I ordered 2 from their website the other day. Yesterday I checked the status of my order and it said "Item(s) located in stock" and today I get an email saying my order is delayed. I don't understand. Did they "unfind" them?
